Default Massive TFTF4 Premiere Meet at The Block in Orange. 4/3/09

Whats up guys this is Vy from 300zxclub... they're coming out with a new The Fast and the Furious. Including most of the original cast. Whether or not the movie turns out to be good, it's always a fun time to get several hundred cars enthusiasts together.

To continue the past tradition, Ryan of the Supra forums will be hosting a meet at the Block of Orange on whatever Friday the movie opens. He has arranged secure parking, pre-purchasing of tickets, and raffle prizes for all who attend and more fun stuff that he can think up. I have been talking to him and he said it is ok for different forums to come. I was hoping to get some more Nissans to come out so we can rep HARD! I am inviting you guys, g35driver, and 300zxclub of course. Among us and the Supra forums, the following will be there: Evo's, S2000's, Sti's and WRX's, NSX's, and more

Date: April 3rd, 2009
Time: 6pm meet, aprox. 9pm show
Location: 20 City Blvd West Ste. 1 Orange, CA 92868

http://www.thefastandthefurious.com/

http://www.fastandfuriousmovie.net/share/trailer.html

Here's a little history:

1st Meet: 90 Cars (46 MKIV Supras) 225 people
2nd Meet: 150+ Cars (90 MKIV Supras) 300+ people
3rd Meet: 200+ Cars (60+ MKIV Supras) 450 people

Past F&F Meet Pics

This is NOT a show up and park event. You must register if you want to be involved in the action. The sooner you register the easier this will work out so please purchase tickets ASAP

Here's where everything started: http://www.supraforums.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=511693

Costs:
Parking: Approx. $10-15 (will finalize soon)
(Pre-Arranged Private Self Parking via Valet or Private Lot Area)
Movie Tickets: $11.50 Gen. Adm. ( +$0.65 added for Paypal fees, $12.15 total)

How it works:
Ryan (coordinator): "I've done this at the Block of Orange for all 3 previous Fast & Furious Movies. I buy the tickets ahead of time, we get blocked off parking, hang out for a few hours and then we watch the movie. This has always been a great opportunity to get a bunch of car enthusiasts together. And watching the movie with 399 other people that understand cars makes the movie experience great no matter the quality of the movie".

this tradition has been going on with every premiere of the fast and the furious but they have been very organized. you had to pay to park and you had to be on the guest list. it does sound crazy having so many cars but the coordinator seems to have things under control. i heard a skyline was towed for being heavily modded but yea heres a little taste of how the previous events turned out:

1st Meet: 90 Cars (46 MKIV Supras) 225 people
2nd Meet: 150+ Cars (90 MKIV Supras) 300+ people
3rd Meet: 200+ Cars (60+ MKIV Supras) 450 people

if you guys are down the cool if not thats cool too

I just hate having a modded car at the Block period when I was like 19 I got a ticket for bumping in my lowered bimmer(didn't know such ticket existed) it wasn't even that loud, it was a ghetto system my minimum wage azz could afford. My buddy with a mk4 supra got a referee ticket there, bike cop told him to pop his hood and saw his t-68 turbo... since then I don't think I've ever driven a modded car there. OC is pretty strict and **** im pretty sure its 10x worse worse than now.

Goodluck and hope you guys have a good turnout though just hope no ricers within or outside of the group mess it up

I must be living on the good side of OC since none of the cops around here seem to care when we have meets at Metro Pointe they just drive around look at the cars and leave. Isn't the Block in ORANGE? Diff then OC? anyway ya sucks that your friend got his hood popped.

Since you posted on several forums, now the cops are going to know that there is going to be a massive meet at the Block. They are now smiling and can't wait to give out tickets when the day comes. Good luck.....
