I'm hoping someone would know the value of 4 Nismo LM GT4 wheels i'm thinking of selling. 2 - 19 x 8.5, 2 -19 x 9.5. All 4 are mint, no scratches, stains or rash period, like new.
I searched online and came up with 0 for sale 0! anywhere. Some sold for crazy prices, some Replicas, but no stock for sale anywhere.
18's are nice for some people on a tire budget. However, the tucked in look of the 8.5" width isn't as desirable for many. I think $1300 is a fair asking price, IMO. Shipping costs is a different story. Maybe find a local buyer?
Because Mic suggested a price, I think you should add a "1" in front of his offer. LOL

OK, seriously, there's a constant battle that goes on about "What is the optimum diameter for a set of good Z wheels?"
18 seems to be the magic number for most; with a minority few who like 19s; while 20's are generally shunned due to weight considerations.
Fact is, however, that while 19s and 20s weigh more inch for inch, a set of LMGT4s in 19" still only weigh 20.5# per wheel average between the 8.5 and 9.5s. (and same wheel LMGT4 18s in same widths are 18.1 and 19.0), making the weight delta for a street driven Z negligible.
Top that off with the fact that 19" tires in comparable widths don't weigh much more (if anything) than 18s. Consider that height and width of 19s are roughly equal and have less sidewall.
I personally run 18"-18# RPF1s and Track 1s, 20# Nismo LMZ5s, and a set of 19" Volks whose rear weight is downright embarrassing in the upper 20s. Those LMZ5s (19s BTW) are still my favorite wheels (performance and looks wise), hands down. The RPF1s are right behind by a point or so.
And 19s MIGHT also offer an arguable benefit of quicker steering response due to the shorter, stiffer 35% sidewalls. (But that's theoretical at best.)
So aside from slightly higher tire costs for these 19s.... it's a wash, IMO.
And just for kicks, I did a tire search on TR and there were actually MORE 19s than 18s (14 to 8) available in Z33 suitable tires - I searched the common 255/275 combination for summer tires - at prices of roughly $100 more per 18" set of comparable summer tires. Hardly anything to write home and bish about.

So there. And I did qualify that by saying it's all theoretical. (Because I know that either works pretty much the same as I love my 18s AND 19s.)

On side note, those that are concern with tire prices between 18s and 19s, im sure there are plenty of tires for 19s that can be had for dirt cheap. Quality however, can be attested. Lol
Quick question since I'm new here, so the desirable size for these wheels are 18's? Also LMGT4's are fully forged wheels?

OK, serious, yes LMGT4s are forged, built by Rays. They come in a fair number of sizes ferom 17 to 19 and varying widths from 7.5 to 10.5 with offsets also varying by model they're "intended for", e.g., Z33, Skyline, etc.
Generally speaking, the most desirable are the ones travlee mentioned but you can work with the higher offset (20mm+) models by running them as is or spacing them if you really want to go that route.
The most desired ones - seemingly - are the newer production "Special Omori Edition" units (from the Rays Omori plant) that were pretty much "built for the Z" (although they were marketed for E-BNR32s ("R32"+ newer.... Skylines) but sold here in US for Z car predominantly. Black as night and gorgeous.

dont get me started on the etched "nismo" logo on them. theyre amazing! saw a set in person and almost bought one myself. however, theyre not as rare as they vender claims them to be. originally, the omori was suppose to make 25 set, back in the days when they still used stickers. however they ended making 100 more and who know how many more of 25set runs after the second one.
then the same happened the previous 2 years. the original 25 set was supposedly "left overs" from a japan batch and only a few made it state side, i believe somewhere around a dozen or 2 made it. then in the summer omori announced another run of 25sets are to be made and are supposedly the last run. the took orders and sept was when the wheels made it to stateside. apparently, more than 25 sets were order so i cant say how many were made after that. they claim its a "limited run" to jack up the price. original price i was quoted was 2800 for a set, and when i asked other dealers when they were taking orders, i was quoted anywhere from 3100 to 4000.
Take off th.e $1200 worth of tires and there's your asking price for wheels alone. Not saying you'll get that but given prices I've seen asking for these and how much they actually sell for, it's about average.
To me these are the best wheels anyone could fit to the 350Z, and it appears a lot of other owners agree. The 19"s are more desirable than the 18"s and as they get rarer this is shown in the price. In the UK they go for the same dollar price but in sterling and they don't hang around for long.
