Default What is this?!

OK so I bought ADR M-Sport wheels. They are 8.5" and 9.5", now about $3,000 after wheels and tires, I try to put them on and there is that thing part of the rotor blocking me from putting the rim on. It looks like a sixth lug, what is this, and how can I put my rims on?!

Thanks in advance for any information.

Its a bolt that keeps you from putting the stock rear wheels on the front. Just take it off and all is well

had the same problem...it's there to prevent you from putting the stock rear wheels on the front of the car...you can safely remove it with no ill effect.

^ 3k for ADR's with Tires???? That's crazy. No offense to ADR owners, but that's putting that tire/wheel package up there with Voks and other QUALITY wheels. I had ADR's before on a previous car, quality was horrible...finish sucked, and I think I bent each wheel on the smallest possible potholes (they werent M-Sports, but a similar style). I would NEVER pay that much for ADR. I put Konig and ADR in the same class.

I agreed with synth19, 3K for ADR is way to much I think, I will rather spent 1 or 2 hundred more and get Volk. Plus you can get RH wheels for less then that with better quailty. You probably got rip dude.

I thought most people were getting these for $600-1200 less than Volk wheels, $3k, are you sure, or are you just rounding up (waaaaay up)???

Isnt the street price on the M-sports like $1000 for all 4? Even with tires it should still be close to $2k not $3k.

I think that's where some of us disagree. There are many wheels that "look good" but I would rather pay extra for better quality. ADR is not a good wheel in my opinion. Their manufacturing process is subpar to other companies. Just be careful with potholes and be sure to maintain the wheels. I wish I was more careful with potholes when I had ADR's with my old car.
