Default Oil pump questions

So I know the vhr has the same oil pump assembly as an hr, but that the gears where revised. Does any one have specifics on what they changed? Is it harder? Did they change the flow rate? Any insight would be great!

Whatever was done you can't do anything with the OEM setup. Don't touch redline!

If you guys want a pump that car handle more RPMs, if you send me a new one, I'm sure we can do something for the 370 community. We just did one for the 350z, good for ~8500rpms maybe more.

Did you post about this in your build thread yet? I'm curious what was done to resolve the shortcomings of the OEM pump at high RPM with excessive aeration, gear disintegration, and insufficient flow volume before the pressure valve bypasses. How does it differ from the Nismo oil pump?

I haven't posted in it just yet. I made a whole new thread in the 350z section.

I have not tested the Nismo Pump against mine, so I don't want to put false information out there.

I apologize for the delayed reply.
