KBB doesn't mean squat. If you want to sell it and no bites at 19k, might I suggest lowering the price.

Because a buyer can walk into a dealer, and walk away with the same 350Z with $1,000 down.

To buy from you, the buyer has to come up with $19,000.

When I go to kbb.com and price it, I get somewhere between $17,500 and $18,300, depending on what options you have.

Look at the number next to 'Good' condition, and make sure you're using 'Private Party Value'.

maybe it's related to sales in general right now. August is historically a bad month for sales and the past week has been about 50% of normal sales for me.

True. Oregon is far from the most popular state. I assume that a 350Z in Oregon is a 3-season vehicle. When does it start to snow in Oregon? November? So a buyer has 3 months of driving before storing that car for the winter.

i think his asking price is a bit high. I just got a 04 w/ 31K miles with $19K out the door. Maybe just a Cali thing, because Z is very common here in Cali, so the prices is lower accordingly. List it on eBay, that way everybody will see it.

You may think your price is fair, but if you want to sell, your price needs to be competitive. One of the things hurting you is the color and the fact that it's an '03.

i've always had good luck listing with autotrader. i would only price it at KBB wholesale good condition. i've never had any trouble selling it to the first person who called within the first three weeks or sooner. i kept all my vehicles in excelllent shape and it helped.

You're selling your Z because they are popular?

A poseur is a poseur regardless of what car you drive.

Depends on what part of Oregon. The valley rarely sees snow... maybe for 2 days out of the year.

It's a two seater car and it's orange and it's an 03. That reduces the number of potential buyers dramatically. I would bet my payments on that car at $19.5k would be higher than my payments on my 07. A buyer can get better rates and terms on a new car than on a 4 year old car.
