Ah so you do enjoy the Z. Then maybe there is still hope for you. I think you can see my frustration when I log on to a 350Z site and see a bunch of noobies registering just to talk about something wrong with their car. It is obvious you understand the feathering issue more than most, and have come to accept it. I just don't like seeing coments like "rid myself of this car" and "worst paint in the free world".

Really!?!? We've owned bunches of Mustangs. In the last 15 years, '89, '98, and '00 GTs and a current '03 Cobra. We've never had tires last that long. Maybe 20,000 miles, tops.
