ha... yeah.. i know z's are bad but i'm a college sophomore payin for my own sh*t, includin a place to live, so i'm kinda ballin on a budget.. i'm shootin for a deal on at least a performance model but it'd be cool if some z owners could let me know which model would be the best to opt for considering my financial standpoint.. hit me up.

If you are going to buy new wheels and tires, then don't waste your money on anything more than an Enthusiast. If you will keep the wheels that come stock, then you have to go Performance to get the 18s. I have a Touring. The wheels were changed, I have not used the heated seats even once (my wife has), and the Bose is no prize. The leather is nice but I would not chose a model because of it if I were in college. Enthusiast is your choice my friend.

After-market leather kit...the bose is ok. I'll probably change it out soon with a touch screen Media Jukebox. Heated seats are great (even tho I live in florida...after sailing in the middle of the winter it's nice to have my a$$ warm.). :-)

Enthusiast is the best deal for sure. Only go Track if you really like the wheels and want the Brembos.. But since money is an issue.. Enthusiast. You can get some mad discounts on the 04 ones too.

thanks for the tips... i do like the 18's a lot... i'm considering the performance model pretty seriously... and no, i don't need a cheaper vehicle.. just b/c i said i'm on a budget doesn't mean i can't afford a z.. i just have to make the most of what i buy, which means i don't wanna buy an option that i'm going to discard in a few months.. anyway, thanks again.

Well I went with the Base model. It runs about 27,000. There is no NA car out there that looks as good and performs as the Z. Plus later you can add nicer rims or whatever for cheaper price.

I'm seriously considering selling my Silverstone (black interior) some time within the next year. I assume that Christmas isn't the best time to sell a sports car, so I haven't gotten too serious about it yet.
My daughter is leaving for college next fall (expensive!), so I'm considering trading in my Z toy and my suburban yard for a nice high-rise condo within walking distance of my office.
This car is two years and one week old, 14K miles, manual six-speed, 18" wheels, leather seats, Bose (not bragging--just the facts), all stock, obsessively maintained by mature, 30-something driver. Always protected by covered parking (day & night). According to Kelley, she is worth $28,735 tonight.
Anyone interested in a used purchase in the Middle Tennessee area?
