04 & 05 Base
How much should I expect to pay for a 04 or a 05 350Z in and around New Jersey? I believe that they both have a MSRP of 26500 + 560 (destination). Please quote the car target price without taxes and tags for both years. Nissan is offering 2% financing on the 04s. Thanks!!

I am a Director for a Nissan dealer. If you cant get the deal u are looking for let me know, we ship. On a 05 base you could expect to pay around invoice or 500.00 above , based on current weather conditions. Here in colorado its snowing, so we are blowing them out. And yes you can get the 2.0% if your credit is good. We have for example a Daytona Blue 04 with a 2100.00 discount and 2.0% Pretty good deal, and its an Enthusiast....
My base Ultra Yellow 05, i paid 25,800.00. and i got my own financing with a Credit Union.
Good Luck!

I'm in Tampa/Saint Petersburg, FL. A dealer offers me a 2005 BASE, SB, Car mats, and travel net for $25,200. That's included destination fee already. NO kick plates tho, so i am trying to get them throw in the kick plates, so the deal is still in the air at the moment.
Remember $25,200 is only the price of the car, i still have to pay 6% of tax, $500 dealer fee + 225 tag all come out to $27,400 OTD

The invoice without destination for 05 Base is 24786. So add the invoice for the options (about 200) and you reach at 25000. So you are in essence paying 500 over invoice without the 560 destination. Cool. I will try for the same. Or maybe he is doing a split on the destination with you.
Guys,
Also look on cars.com, I found an 03 Base (back in July 04) for just 23K, mint condition, only 7K miles on it...it pays to look around, you can narrow your search down to 10,20,50 or 100 miles from your zip code.

I got an 05 base yesterday in MD with
-kickplates
-side/curtain airbags
-cargo pkg
-splash guards
-aerodynamics pkg
for 26500. It came to 28100 with 5% tax + all fees
i did shop around abit..
if I could of waited to buy a little onger, I would have probably gotten the enth. for the cruise control alone, but I think I will be able to live with it as it is.

Oh, and since you're now a Z owner and former EP3 owner, what's your insurance change like? How much more and what's your record like?

If it's any consequence, you could've held out a little longer for an '05. I was at Cobb County Nissan last night, wanting to trade in my EP3, of which they were going to give me 13.5k on it and offered 24.5k for their '05 Redline Base. I should've done it, but we'll see. I hadn't considered an '05, and was only looking for '03s. Had it been black or Daytona Blue, I'd have jumped into it right then and there.

I wanted the blue too, but having negative coming over didn't give me to many choices.
And dude you should get that Z, red is very nice too and that deal is so much better than mine... That is a win-win for you folk.

i bought from Pinebelt Nissan in Keyport, i actually had a good dealer experiece except they could have done a little better on the finance. That is the lowest they said they could go a month ago. Somerset Nissan is that anywhere by Monmouth County
