I got few to start...

-few girls raised their hands for a lift. They even point out at the car...
-countless head outside the window.
-countless thumbs-up
-some people got freezed towards the car......while on cellphones.
-this guy comes to me at the traffic light and said loudly.. WOW!
-I parked my car right in front of the party.. everybody came out... This guy offered my entire case of beer for a ride...

5 year old kid rolls up on his tricycle and says .. wow i really like your doorhandles

 

a 240z owner pulled up beside me and started honking repeatedly and giving me the thumbs up.

 

I'm driving down the block in my black touring a few weeks ago, and I come across a silver touring Z, pulled over! The woman is in the car, so I pull up next to her and roll down my window. She roll's down hers. I smile and go "wow, nice car, is that the touring?" She looks at me and gives me the victorious smile of a woman with a car nobody knows, and goes "nah, actually its really new, you've never heard of it, it's a Nissan Z 350." My friend and I just started to laugh, not the ooohhh aahhhh reaction she was expecting. We drove off, and the rear end of my Z laughed at her Z's nose.

 

- I just finished washing my car outside and had a couple of kids in the neighborhood ride up on bikes. They asked if they could take a picture of the car. I said sure, you should have seen the excitement on their faces. Just for a picture, no they didn't pose in front. They just wanted to take a pic.

Other experiences:
- Women that look at you at you and smile like you're next month’s paycheck! (Haven’t been flashed yet.)
- Looks from older men to younger women, they all have a smile to give.
- Countless thumbs up.
- Countless "Beautiful car!"
- Countless $$$?
- Is it fast? I smile and say, nah, she just looks it!

- I inevitably get asked how many gears? Now, I have an AT which is technically a 5-speed, but I always tell them the MT comes w/6-speed. Makes me wish I would have gone with the MT. Overall, I'm still very happy with my AT.

Lust then love. Looks like Nissan got it right.

I said it before and I'll say it again.

I had the car less than 24 hours. I pull up to a light and four college girlies pull up next to me. They honk, so I look over.
They start yelling and screaming, "Wow! what a car, we Love your car! Its so beautiful!" One then blows me a kiss (was it me or the car?)

I blow one back, (not to offend) and both girls on the passenger side (front and back seat) both turn towards me and lift up the shirts.

R U serious???? You gotta be kidding.... I live in college town ... and I have yet to see this happen to me... probably never!

 

Was in downtown DC the day after I took delivery. Woman pulls up next to me on the right, she's in a Jeep, my windows are down.

She says, ooowee baby, that thing is tight!

Limo pulls up next to me on the left, he rolls down his window.

He says, man, is that the new Z? Is it fast? You bet! We smile and wave as the light turns green.

And the one I love the most...

How much did that thing cost, 50 grand?

Yesterday went to check out a storage unit to keep the Z in for the winter. Went to a place about 1 mile from my apartment, park the Z out front, walk inside. Immediately there are 5 guys checking it out, all asking the usual questions, is it fast, how does it handle, etc. The owner has a Prowler home in the garage, he takes me into his office and starts showing me pictures of his show cars and his trophies. We chat for awhile, finally I go out to see if my car will fit into a 10x15 storage unit, and it does with about 3 inches to spare. So I go back, we do the paperwork, I give him my $$. I'm getting ready to leave, he says, how much did that thing cost, 50 grand? I say, no, if it had been built in Germany, it would have cost $50 grand. He couldn't believe it when I told him it was $32 grand delivered.

I walked out to my car, thinking about this, started the car, and put the windows down, even though it was kinda cold. As I pulled out of his lot, I punched it and wound it up through the gears, listening to the engine's howl and the rush of the wind. I laughed.

This is some car. Enjoy your Z!

I am driving along the main beltway freeway, carving (safely) through traffic to reach my offramp exit. I had noticed (but not paid attanetion at that point) that there wasn't much faster traffic save for a black 3-series way way back of me. I exit and as I am cruising down the frontage road still making 50-60 mph, I hear a series of frantic honks off to my left. I look left and the Beemer has slowed down and pulled into the right hand lane of the freeway in traffic to give me a thumbs up!

 

Nice car, what is it? Is that a Volvo?

 

this was fun to recall all my "z encounters"

* First night I had it, I'm in Vegas. I pull into valet at Palms Casino at 4am while the clubbers are leaving. About 5 guys shake my hand, one guy even comes up and throws a dollar into the passenger window to make a "good luck" wish. Two girls introduce themselves, one gets into the car to oooh and ahhh.

* A motorcycle cop chases after me on the freeway. He pulls up next to me and gives me the thumbs up.

* An NSX "lurks" me for about 3 miles. Then honks, flashes his lights, and makes a U turn.

* Smoking my friend in his Boxster S was indeed priceless.

 

A guy in a Bentley pulls up beside me and asks "What’s the retail on one of those" I said about a 1/10th of that Bentley. Then he wanted me to smoke him. He was obviously cool and had seen The Fast and the Furious.

A new H2 owner wanted my car and 5K for his. He was dead serious. (I still have my Z)

I went to look at the new 4Runners (the lease on my 99 is up in March). The salesman said pick out any thing you want and while we get this car appraised. I was like think again buddy. That’s not going anywhere. He was pissed. I drove the 4Runner then he requested a ride in the Z.

 

well i was driving and err .... ok ok i was walking to my car when um ..... alright... we'll i was waking up in the morning to grab my car keys just when ..... OK ALRGIHT ALREADY..... I DON"T HAVE MY BABY YET but it will be here in january they said!!!!!!!!!

 

You didn't take the H2 offer??!! I would have taken that in a sec. A base H2 costs 51K. If he had the sunroof and a couple other options it was probably worth 55K!

 

Sticker was 56,XXX I dont remember. He worked for GM so he got it cheap. He really wants a new Z. I think he may have a black one now. I could not afford the gas for that car and I waited for 8 months for my car. I could turn around and sell it but they have them on the lots. There are no Z's on the lots, I would have to wait again.
