Then you either read the wrong window sticker or read it incorrectly. The window sticker on the car that shows all the options, MSRP, dealer installed options, etc. also indicates the trim (base, enthusiast, performance, touring, and track).

Actually, now that I think about it, a BASE 350z would not have the trim identified since it is the BASE model. Only the Enthusiast and above would indicate the trim.

I think the base model just says 350Z, nothing else. Wheras the track would say 350Z Track.

Thanks, that's what I thought. If your sales sticker does not show the trim and your paper work does not say anything, then you are screwed. It is your responsibility to check over the paperwork.

Chalk this up to a lesson in life.

I cant believe I am reading this thread and you are willing to take it in the *** and get a few hundred dollars worth of parts. First of all, the parts you want are gonna be nowhere near $1K, even at wholesale cost. Do not put those cheesy $35 dollar HID wanna be lightbulbs and think you now have Xenon lights. Don't bother getting the Nismo Exhaust and other Nismo parts and try to make an Enthusiast Model out of the Base you were given. Fact is, those are 2 totally different cars and you should've gotten what you dealed and paid for.

Stop driving immediately and contact your family lawyer. Tie up the dealership with so much litigation that they will wanna give you a Track Model when you are done with them. Classic Bait and Switch done to your dad. Contact the BBB, the newspapers, and anybody else that will listen to your story, and make sure you tell the dealership you are going public with this and you are definitely pursuing the legal route until they give you what you want.

Man you people can't read. He bought a Base 350z. ALL of his paperwork indicates that he bought a Base 350z. They did not check the paperwork before signing. They PAID for a Base.

In the eyes of the law, there is nothing he can do.

ALWAYS read the contract. What happens sucked but guess what...we have no idea what the dealers side of the story is.

I DO think you got screwed but who knows what happened between them and your Dad for sure. Also if you are going to argue...argue safety all the way!

Car Stealerships suck.

NISMO crate engine? Tell them to stick that in their bum! Or nismo heads and try to sell them. That is the msot expensive nismo item I believe. If nismo makes bigger brakes get those instead. Like 6 pistons.
