My wife had a blow-out on the way to work this morning. Over half the side wall was gone. She and the car are both fine but went I saw what she did, I had to share it. There was no room to put the blown tire in the back, so she had to put it in the front seat. She did not want to get to leather seats dirty, so she wrapped her cashmere scarf around the tire to protect the seat. If that is not true love, I don't know what is!

 

That is awesome!!

 

It's true love but you need to throw a few large, lawn garbage bags in her glove box.

 

Time to buy her a new scarf!

 

Hmmmm... I would have tried to be a little more resourceful than using a cashmere scarf. There IS room in the trunk to fit a stock tire, you know... all she would need to do is remove the carpet and she'd been okay....

But ya.. put those drum size (55 gallon) bags in teh trunk, right next to the spare tire out of sight!

What was cool about that story was that your wife actually changed the tire! Most women I know don't know how
