Default Break-in schedule

If anyone could offer any advice on breaking in a new 350z I would appreciate. I just got an 05 yesterday and couldnt be more excited!

The manual states only not to exceed 4000 rpms and to avoid fast accleration/braking?

Should oil changes be incorperated into this process? What is the best type of oil to use while breaking in the engine?

I realize that there are many schools of thought on breaking in new engines but would love to hear others experiences/input on the process!

I think most people changed oil after 1200 miles (end of break-in). I put Mobil-1 in my G35coupe.

just drive it like its gonna be driven. try to stay away from redline a lot though and shifting gears hard. i wouldnt change the oil until 3000 miles though. a lot of manufacturers are putting additives in the oil to help break in the motor. a guy i know that is a mechanic for Nissan said there is no reason to change the oil b/c Nissan does this and that his dealership may start voiding warranties if people change their oil before the "first scheduled oil change".
