My 04 still only has 14k. I never drive it, which is sad for the both of us.

In fact, I CAN'T drive it right now. Oregon requires that I have a title in order to get my plates switched from Indiana plates. But my leasing office won't give me a real title. Only a temp, which they won't take...

Wow. My 04.5 has 43k miles. The only problems I have right now, or ever had:
1. tint on drivers side starting to peel (not sure if its stock, I think it is)
2. bose sub amp cuts in and out, need a new one.

 

i think your whining noise at 70-80 mph is normal. i have it too. i remember someone here telling me it was just the differential.

I think all Z's have clutch chatter when coming to/from a stop
I have the shifter "rattle" too. I narrowed it down to the boot making noise. Only happens sometimes though.
I definitely have the squaky clutch pedal, I thought it was just me, I guess not.
All Z's have the gas door sticking out a little. I hate it too.
I'm pretty sure all Z's have the whining noise too.

 

Check out my fuel door fix write up. You'll probably need to get a longer screw, but once you have the screw, it will be the easiest fix you've ever done. ... A fix that your Nissan dealer will never figure out.
