heh... it was dark, it was raining, and I was making a left hand turn. On top of that I was arguing with my girlfriend in the passenger seat. Next thing I know I hear THUD and I look forward and I just see some guy flying off of my hood.

Then he gets up, and its some old homeless guy carrying a bottle of hard liquor. He was aimlessly crossing the street when I hit him. He came to the window and started talking to me, but I was still in shock. Then he was just slurred some sort of version of "good night" and wandered off in the other direction, and I drove off. I have to say, it was a most awkward experience.

The worst accidents are the motorcycle versus dear accidents. I've seen a couple of those at the hospital and the rider is usually in pretty bad shape.

The damage on the back of the car is minimal. Its right by the gas door. Its the size of a softball, just a big dent. And hitting the deer is a good thing, its population control where i am, since there are no preditors around, the deer are way over populated. It most likely died when it did the softball size head butt on the rear. It was instant. There was no blood or anything, just a clean hit. Im very lucky that it didnt hit the windshield, theres about 10-15 hits a week around the area i live. Most go to the windshield. Recently a deer was hit and shot into a guy on a bike. The antllers went into his chest and the emergency people had to cut the antlers off the deer and send the guy to the emergency room with them stuck in him. Must of been a strange site. Ive hit a deer once before, but it did no damage to the car. (wasnt driving the Z, in a Hummer). Pulverized the thing. But agian very lucky the way the hood bent and shot it over the car, and not into the windshield.

Ever had a duck hit your helmet at 70 miles an hour? :P Not pleasant, to say the least

almost hit me of the damn bike, luckily it hit the top of my helmet so it didn't give the crash effect, so that kept me from getting blasted of my motorcycle, duck died instantly, very sad situation though, because there were little ducklings (is that a word?) crossing the street as well, guess the mother duck got spooked and tried to fly away, while i was lying down on my bike, so it hit the top/back side of my helmet, i guess it broke is neck while hitting the helmet or the back of the bike, it was real bungie-like when i picked the duck up...

I also hit a deer at about 50mph on my S2k last year. The deer hit my bumper first then to my windshield. Guess what, I only got a 5-6in scratch on my bumper. The windshield didn't break or crack, it's prolly because the S2K's windshield (convertible) is stronger than other cars. Everybody said I was really lucky.
