Talking Look what I got me for my early christmas present

Unable to find any decent Poster with Ultra Yellow Z/ZR in it, I decided to design and make my own.

Check this out

VERY nice......You could make some bucks selling those here as a sponsor on this site....Think about it. I'd buy one.

hehehe... 2 posters to be exact
One goes in my garage wall, and the other in my office wall.

I'm still waiting for die cast model of Ultra Yellow ZR... May be I should go find me a ZR die cast model in PPW and paint it myself

Thanks for the compliments and interest in my poster!

Here is one more pic of it taped in my temporary office We're in the process of moving into new office building. Hopefuly I'll have it framed by then.

As far as dimensions go, it ended up being 36" X 24". Laminate machine can only accomodate up to 24". Non-laminated poster can be up to 42" X any length.

There are lots of interest in the poster, so this is what I'm going to do. Over the weekend, I'm gonna drive out to Nissan dealer and take pictures of badges in all colors (Brickyard and Liquid Aluminum owners may have to help me out with high resolution pics in those colors), and finalize the poster design.

Change in design will be:
Extend the black bar on top all the way across and move all the Z/ZR's closer together
Rotate the Z/ZR 180 degrees on left side so all cars will face the Z
I'll let the buyer decide what they want the poster to say on top and bottom borders
I'll also remove my email addy and date.

I'll try to have the poster designs in each color ready by Monday or tuesday next week.

Price of poster is $50.00 for Non-laminated and $55.00 for laminated at 36" X 24" shipped within continental USA in poster mailer tubes via UPS ground (3-5 days).

Break down of poster price:
Shipping & packaging $15
Poster materials (paper, ink) $15
Labor (for my friend) $20
Laminate $5

and I get free posters

Larger sizes and outside continental USA, we'll have to figure how much additional it will cost.

Please let me know if any of you are interested.

Default Revised design

This is what final poster will look like.
I have new design in ultra yellow and grey scale just to give you an idea.

I'll also be taking photographs of other Z/ZR colors over the weekend.

Default Verrrry nice!

Du4L337, that is an awesome poster! I especially like how you arranged the Z colors along the sides. Looking forward to your Daytona Blue version. At the bottom I'd go for the generic "2005 Nissan 350Z".

If I may make a one suggestion:

It looks like there is some dust on the Z emblem (although it may just be an image artifact). If indeed it is dust, there are some powerful dust removal tools in Photoshop that can easily touch this up.

Great job!!!!

Default few more colors :D

I could not find Liquid Aluminum and Brickyard as expected, and dealer did not have Le Mans Sunset in stock at the time of my visit.

Redline and super black was not as clean as they needed it to be, and under flash too much dust/dirt/ water residue showed up. You will notice Redline and Super Black badge to be little "dull" compared to other colors since I took the picture without flash. I'll try to get better pictures on above five colors.

I will need help obtaining high resolution picture of Brickyard and Liquid Aluminum badges from owners. 5 mega-pixel minimum, since when those suckers blow up to nearly two feet in diameter anything less will look horrible. If I select your picture to put on the poster, I'll pay for your shipping cost on your poster

Are you doing this as a group buy or per order basis?

Per order, but if you want to coordinate combined shipment for all your local members, I could arrange that and save you guys $$$ on shipment. Each poster costs $35 to produce and $5 additional for laminating per poster.

I'll figure out the actual shipping charge, that includes protective packaging and freight.

Try 3 weeks... of gathering all necessary components, taking pictures, cleaning up, designing and tweaking...

Ayou are absolutely right... All those cars represents all Z/ZR's produced by Nissan since 2003.

Once Nissan releases 35th Anniversary Coupe and Grand Touring ZR... I might have to make a room for them....
