Default 350z owners- GREAT Z SHOP IN THE BAY AREA

I wanted to get my 350z tuned up, and heard of this shop called Scott Perofrmance in Santa Clara, CA that was supposed to be good. I was also looking for information about modifying my car. Well, not only was Ted, the owner, very informative about modifying my car, but they did an amazing job on my car! They even had this kid wash it for me- including cleaning the wheels! Their service was amazing. I've had some issues with the "Z Doctor" in the past, but Scott Performance is where I'm going to go now! I strongly reccomend anyone in the Bay Area to go there- they are simply the best.

Their quality is really good. Their shop was clean, mechanics nice, and all the work they did on my car was top notch. The car cleaning was just a cherry on top of the sundae.

You need to also check Zcar garage in San Jose. They are an exclusive Nissan, Datsun, and Infinity shop. Rob Fuller is the man in charge and you should check out his GTR Skyline, it's bad azz!

darn...i spent over 4K over there and don't even get a car wash like you? hehehe... I have my car done at Ted place few times and I think its' just ok.

They quote price base on "moody". Also, the labor kinda high. $125/hour. I don't mind paying for the work but some time they do work on something that they never done before so it take longer and i have to pay for their "learning" too. Just don't think it fair.

I'm just comparing my experience based on trips to other Z shops. Deffinately the best out of all of them. And I mean, there aren't exactly a ton of "Z Specialists" out there, so I don't mind paying a little more.

Oh, btw, according to my reciepts the labor was $95/hour. Ted's a cool guy, I got a flyer in the mail, if you bring your car in before Xmas, he'll give you a free oil change.

I heard Rob Fuller got his training and experience from Scott Performance, and has only been in the industry a little over 6 years... Scott Performance has been there for over 20 years. You should go by SP and drive the demo roadster- it's awesome.

I had the fuel lines cleaned out and they checked the cold start system. I had been out of town for a while and the car had just been sitting, I figured that I would rather be safe than sorry (rust can come in from the gas tank.) It's a good idea to have your car checked out if it has been sitting.

Thanks for the info. At least we have good choices here.
A lot of folks rave about Zcar - first time I heard about Scott's

What could I expect to pay (scott's and Zcar) to get cat-backs installed?
