Today I picked up my 350Z from Smithtown Nissan. Silverstone Track Model. This thing is just too damn nice for words. Don't have pics yet, but will very shortly. Anyone notice a funky smell after driving the car? Kind of like something burning. Not rotten eggs, I don't know if its just the oil burning off but it kinda stinks.

And, yes, it smells funny...it's the burning cosmolene, you'll smell it for a couple of days, then it goes away, there's nothing wrong with your car.

Unless it starts smoking. Or explodes, then there's something wrong with it.

The feeling is very surreal, I keep going into the garage to take a look, man it is GOOD to have the Z finally. I dreamed of this day and finally it has arrived.

Hey james... sorry forgot to tell you.. your Z had only 8 miles on it. The smell will go away in a day or two... Very Normal..
