If you're attending the event, please take a minute to write down the wheel and tires sizes on the Nismo Z's and post when you get back.

Why would the Axis car have an HKS inter-cooler? No mention of turbo. Did somebody confuse CAI with inter-cooler?
I knew Nismo ( others soon to follow) would shut up some of these blow-hards that said there would be no HP in new exhaust.
Can't wait to see all the pictures!

Hmm, 8 hp from the exhaust. I seriously don't think we'll see exhausts that produce much more. Hopefully they'll keep the prices in the triple digit range.

I find myself only liking the wing and the wheels, but it still VERY tasteful. The side looks a little more cluttered, and less stretched than stock, takes away from door cut-in. Also, front end loses the fascia lip which I love.

Eagerly awaiting prices...

Cool Hey VQracer....

I kinda had enough of you attacking NISMO parts. You don't know what the list price of the exhaust will be in the US, you are basing on current Japan prices. Why are you putting out disinformation like that?
And then you put down the quality and the name.

Yes, it's obvious you have a vested interest in other brands, why don't you start a new thread on that subject, other brands, and leave this thread for those that believe in the NISMO brand?

Thank you.

Hmmm, I wonder why he has a link to Nismo's website in his sig if he's putting them down all the time...

8 horsepower isnt worth the money or the noise. To justify the extra decibels, you should at least have a hp gain you can feel.

I didn't take as Nismo bashing either, he just gave you the current price in Japan, what we need to keep in sight is the price for 8HP, it does seems high, the current offering from B&B is at 900 for 6 HP which is about 150 per Horse, still on the high side, but I don't think we will see cheaper exhaust like we do for other cars, hopefully I am wrong, but to make the Weldina (Nismo) the same $/HP as the B&B the price would have to be no more than 1200. And even at that point if I really wanted an exhaust I would opt for the 900 dollar one and spend the 300 on a CAI. my 2 cents.

Jay,
Thanks. I'm a little bit disappointed with the stuff for the Z. So far, looks like the exact same stuff they have released in Japan. I was hoping for a few surprises. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt though...hopefully they'll give us something really great. What I REALLY hope they do give is some ballpark costs for their products in the US market, and a firm release date.

With 6-8hp gain from the exhaust, I don't think it's worth the money. If they can bring down the cost to around $500-650, more people will be interested. Then again, you pay for the NAME sometimes, not product.

Maybe NISMO will have a chip upgrade next year, even if it's around $500+ for a 20-30hp gain, it will be worth it.
