If you would have looked slightly to the left, you would have noticed that the Z Roadster's curb weight is 3479 lbs. By comparison, a Z Coupe's gross weight is 3815 lbs, and a G35C's is 4360 lbs.

I believe gross is what the car can handle, thus you can have 654 additional lbs.

Gross weight is the max amount of weight the car's suspension can handle before things get out of spec.

Like bottoming out or forcing all the suspension bits to do things they cannot do.

Of course going even beyond that weight limit would mean even more obvious nasties.

The curb weight of a 6sp Touring 350z (half a tank of gas and no driver/passenger) is just over 3200lbs.

some people can pull off dubs, like this car.
