Default Some feedback again on the JWT Pop charger please...

Hey guys.

I posted a few weeks ago about the pop charger. I took it off because I got a lil freaked out about some of the freak incidents some people posted ( can't remember, i think some had stalls and one person fried his MAF sensor??)

Anyways, for those of you who currently use it, notice any problems? I'm sure some of you have been using it for a quite a while now, I'm curious as to how its been working long term?

Also, does using the heat shield really help keep only cooler air going in?

thanks a lot guys.

I took mine off after the dyno results were posted with a 5hp loss. Granted that was without the heat shield.
I'm waiting to see results with the heat shield before I put it back on.
I did have it on there for about 2 weeks and it worked fine.

I had it on for about 500 miles without the heat shield and no stalling problems. I would open the hood after a hard run and the whole filter would be extremely hot. Then I installed the heat shield and I have put about 1700 miles with it on. The car has not stalled once and the filter feels alot cooler after the same hard run. I would definately say that the heat shield works....
