Yeah ... the Taurus (non-SHO) was driven by a 18 year-old kid who I think was going about things in the right way. Instead of getting some civic (or gasp ... a Z) and investing thousands $$$ in go fast parts -- he took his hand-me-down Taurus to Laguna (and other tracks) and got some professional instruction. He run what he brung.

It was somewhat commical watching the horribly unbalanced car come out of turn 11 -- but I respected him a lot. He drove well given the equipment. He was also headed to Harvard in Fall 2004.
