Bought my Z
Bye bye to:
Hello to:
05 Touring Silver Stone, No navigation. Wheels came without my knowledge but, o well, they keep the stock car looking good
.
Paid off completely with a final price of 34,900 final. Got 24,000 for the BMW. Gonna be spending about 25,000 or so in performance parts for the Z. Gonna have wheels done in January right after I get back from CO. Still have a lot of research to cover on other parts though
.
The Mcoupe was a badass car, I loved it to death, but it is time for me to return to my place amungst Japanese tuners. To build a car that will compete or beat the new Z06. Project Outlaw starts in January, hopefully I will have it finished by the end of the year. But that depends how my life unfolds throughout the year and what problems arise.
But damn, the Z rides soo much better stock... Too bad I am gonna rip the suspension out. Shifts better then the M too. Only thing that really bothers me is the clutch, I cant shift it smoothly because its so light. Immediatly after break in I will be replacing it with a 35lb to 40lb clutch. No regrets though
(If you view my spending as a waste, so be it, although I fit the imports better then in a vette or other high end car. Cause I know there are a few BMW loyalists roaming around here.)
Well I am off to bed, gonna be gone for a week. Not enough time to drive my car unfortunatly but... I will check this thread when I get back and PM anyone who had useful tips/advice with my thanks

Hell yeah man Congrats....im sure your gona be very happy....dont know too much bout that bimmer but im sure it was a good car also....those stock rims look different i guess thats how they will be comin in 05.....wonderin if your goin FI? if so what kind?have fun and update us on your progress
I am going APS Twin turbo
. Yea, I gotta admit, the 350z is a really fun to drive car. Steering isnt as touchy as it was on the M so it is nice knowing I can take my hands off the wheel for a sec without flying off the road lol. Yea I am really going to bed now night
My list is in my sig if you are interested in any other parts. Mind you it is very incomplete and I basically have it up there for reference / keep it somewhere I wont lose it.

That Z3 was a beauty! Almost bought one myself... but the 350Z won out in the end.
Lemme know if you decide to go bigger/better with the rims (they're Track rims, right?). I'm looking to upgrade my 17" stock Enthusiast rims.
