Best you can do for your car before storage is a fresh oil change and fill your tank with gas. No need for gas stabilizer unless it's going to be more than six months. Also a good cleaning/wax job. If you have problems with moisture in your garage then put a moisture barrier under the car. Make sure your tires have good pressure - do not overfill. You don't have to worry about flat spots with today's radial tires. If you cover it make sure it's a breathable cover. Batteries suffer reduced life if not kept charged. Best to take the battery out and connect to a trickle charge (Batter Tender). Oh, and plugging the exhaust with steel wool is a good idea if you have rodent problems.
