Well, after BMW screwed me...
I'm ready to get another Z! Hurrah!
I have finally gotten through this trouble with BMW(long story) and have re-amassed some money to make a healthy down payment on a new Z
A few questions:
Can you get Yellow for any style Z?? ie: base, enthusiast, touring
What does the Touring have that the Enthusiast doesnt?
I dont really need VDC or leather heated seats; just a nice car that will get me from point a to point b fast and be easily modded!
Is there something about wheels that the Enthusiast must deal with?? I have heard some stuff about the wheels and illegality of getting aftermarket ones??
Whats that about?
Why should I pay 8K more for a touring Auto than an Enthusiast Auto?
Thanks all
Bye!!

Go with the Enthusiast and use the 8k on mods.... AFAIK, there isn't an issue w/ aftermarket wheels on enthusiasts, I don't see why there would be. There are tons of members here w/ Enth. and aftermarket wheels, so I wouldn't be worried.

please post pics when you get this ... or I will continue to call BS on everything you say here ....
sorry to those that don't understand ... but he just seems like a 12 year old that posts for fun....
SUMMARY: He had a stillen charged Z .. sold it for some good cash ... told us about how much better bmw would be for him, got a lemon of a Z4 roadster, and is now back here (or he never left) .. who knows
if not, good luck in the car search.... get the manual tranny btw ... it is a sports car = more fun.... as long as it isnt in traffic all the time, plus it gets better mileage
and please, oh please don't get a stillen blower this time around

I dont plan on going F/I this time around, I'm still reeling financially from BMW's thorough ***-pounding...
That Z4 was a hunk of ****, and they blamed it(electrical gremlins, leaking fluids, and warped head) on the high-flo cat on it!

Please never post a reply to one of my threads ever again. I think that it's quite clear that you dont like me, my onpinion, or my forum etiquette. I understand that, and from now on your posts are not needed or wanted.
Thank you for your understanding,

Axxizzer JimRHIT is right. He dosen't flame people for no reason. Your posts are shaky. I remember one about "what would you buy if you were 17 again"
asking about only having 7K to spend.
I would love to see a pic of you and your new Z as well.

where did I say I bought a new Z??
I said I was in the market for it: Researching, exploring all my options...
Also, I am sorry if I make posts when I'm bored...really, its a habit to go on the internet when I have nothing better to do...
If I get a Z again, I will take pic's for the non-believers...But it isnt really like it will matter. One yellow Enthusiast looks exactly like another yellow enthusiast...
But in a few months, sure Ill borrow a buds digi-cam and take a picture or two.

Hmmmm....I thought the only model that came in yellow was the Anniversary...can you get ANY model in yellow??
As far as the guys credibility, Im not familliar with his other posts, but I can vouch for BMWs bieng a pain in the a$$ to maintain. A couple of cars ago I had a '98 740iL which I bought with about 70k miles on the clock. BIG MISTAKE!! I mustve spent about 1K per month average on maintainence and soon traded it in for a G35(another story). If your going to get a german car (and by the way, I LOVE german cars), be sure to get one either brand new, or with one hell of a warranty. If not, be prepared to spend $$$ on say $500 hand rubbed custom grain matched walnut cupholders and such.

Yeah thats true. When I had my Infiniti in for service, the salesman was talking to me about a customer that called him inquiring about the Q45. Anyway she had an 740 had to have work done on it. Was going to cost her about 6000. . So she was comming in later. I have been told that BMWs, Posches' etc are very expensive to maintain. I don't think to me a vehicle is worth spending that much on. Besides, I think the G35 and Z look better than a Porsche any way. They are just status symbols. True car enthusiasts choose a car for its performance and looks, and they know what they want. And nowadays, since any good performance cars start at about 25000.00 + that is something to consider. Not just settling for something else. Thats what is great about the Z, sure there are differnt models and options, but each one suits the owners needs and budget!
Just my two cents

Thanks for your related input!
I appreciate real comments as opposed to useless flames.
I say Yellow becuase it is a $500 option on the online Z-Maker for nissanusa check it out! If not yellow...then Daytona Blue, it just looks better with carbon fiber than the others to me.
The Z4 leaked everything and kept dieing on me. BMW blamed the Cat, and Made me pay for all the repairs without warranty. I dont think lemon-law applied to the case because of the High-Flow...At least thats what BMW said, and it was their reason to eff me without warranty in the first place. I bought the Z4 becasue of the transmission and the transmission alone, now I regret it greatly.
