This is my first thread in this forums, seems to be pretty cool. I currently have a very hot looking 2000 celica GT 5 spd. Needless to say on the pref department it lacks a little bit . I'm looking into getting an 03 350z 6 spd with around 16k miles on it. My questions to you guys is did you have any mechanical problems with your Z or any other problems? I have heard about the tire problem, how bad is it? can it be fixed? Please let me know cause with my toyota celica i had nothing but good luck.

Best to do a search, but here's a quick run down

The two major problems have been the Tire Feathering and Manual Transmissions going out...

Both Items are fixed by warrenty..... Even tho Nissan has fixed the transmission under warrenty there have been several members who are on the 2nd and 3rd transmissions... That said there are also some that have the 03 350z's with no problems at all.... Luck of the draw..

My advice, save up and buy a new 2005, Im pretty sure the 05's have worked out all the bugs...
