I bought my Maxima at Continetal Nissan. Their sales and service department are top notch. Talk to Steve if you go in there.

BTW.....Does anyone know where I can go to test drive a Z??? I went to a few local dealers a few weeks ago and was told that they would give me a call when a tester becomes available.

Try Mid-City Nissan on the northside or their sister company, Star Nissan in Skokie. I ordered from Star after 4 bad experiences with other dealers and I've been very satisfied so far. They were about as honest as I expect a car dealer to be. They were willing to deal with the stipulations I wanted and put up very little fight, considering the high demand of this car.

Ill have to check it out on monday if its still there. I really want to drive the manual though because thats what I would buy. I can still get a feel for the suspension and brakes though.

I had a decent experience at Arlington Nissan in Buffalo Grove. No pressure sales during the preorder and great delivery process. Mine was their first Z delivered, so maybe I got special treatment.

The service dept as been great too. I took the car in on Wed. to have to Bose problem looked at. They called me today and said the amp was in. I'm taking it on Tues for the repair. They even offered a loaner car.

When I was there the other day, they had a Chrome Silver and Silverstone parked in front. Didn't look up close to see what models they were, but probably Touring 6MT.

BTW - Woodfield Nissan was the only Chicago area dealer I called during the preorder process that was trying to charge over MSRP. As another thread stated, I would stay away from them.

Ive had nothing but good service with the sales dept at MidCity in Chicago. Although i talk with noone else but Jordan the sales manager...i would absolutely use him again..This is my second vehicle in 2 years from them. I do think their service dept is suspect based on personal experiences. I most likely will use their sister store Star Nissan.

I purchased my Z from Bill Kay Downers Grove Nissan, had a great experience, very easy to deal with. Ask for Lee Eisenberg the GM and tell him you were referred by Rick Taich.

Woodfield dealers seem to consistently suck! (all makes) I've never had a good experience at ANY of them...

I purchased my car from Al Piemont in North Lake, IL. I wouldn't be surprised if they had a few in stock. Good luck. -m

I purchased a Z form them and have had nothing but great service and excitment from everyone. MSRP, they keep in touch with me during the ordering process and to top it all off I beleive they might have 1 or 2 on the floor. that was a couple of days ago but good luck.. I delt with Dana Qwin..

I also got my from Arlington Nissan in Buffalo Grove. Everything went through smoothly.

Besides the CS and Silverstone, there is a Sunset touring in the showroom too. My salesman said the person pre-ordered can't get a loan.
