Does my door stand a chance in court
Heres the short on what happened. 10/21 long story short, hit a guard rail.
10/22 filed a claim with geico.
I got my car back in the middle of december and the door looked good when i first looked at it, but when one of my friends was driving my z and drove past me, i realized the door was still screwed up. I called geico and they told me to go back to the shop that did it. I went back to the shop and they said it was the best they could do and to talk to geico. (I was told by the insurance adjustor that this shop was certified by geico and they would guarantee the quality of the service). I met with the insurance adjustor again 2 weeks ago. He said "im not sure what we can do about it because you have to hunt for it" He said he would talk to his supervisor and call me back the following day. Two weeks later, I havent heard a thing, and i left his supervisor a voicmail last night but he did not call me back either. Here are the pictures, untouched. Do I have a case if i was to get a lawyer??

uneven surface?
Are you trying to show that the surface is uneven by catching the reflection? If you notice the reflection of the parking line, it's not as clear as the undamaged side. i dunno.

My friends and I like to refer to that as "Surf's up" (Wavey)
It sucks because it will drive you crazy, but I garauntee you that 99.996% of the general population will never know.

I see it now. I think this happens when the bondo hasn't set or is not completely dry. The paint runs off the bondo like oil and water.
I would take it back and have them re-prep the door, let it dry and re-shoot it.

geico sucks... you have to fight them to get anything repaired decently. They will send it to the crapiest shop around. I've never heard anyone with geico who was satisfied with how the repair work or claim was handled.
They're great, until you file a claim.

notice the reflection of the parking line on the door in the first pic, start from the fender and work your way to the back of the car, around the middle of the door you will notice the line starts getting jagged. not on the other door pic, nice and straight.

next time you guys park inbetween lines, when you walk out to your car, look at the reflection of the lines on the side panel and the line will be straight. mine are wavy. Plus its hard to tell in a picture, but if you are walking by the car you can notice it when you are moving. Sly i am in SC, i just never changed my info on here. Not many Zs in Sc

That's my hometown, not much there. enjoy Myrtle Beach in the summer though. You can open that Z up on those back roads too :-)

Keep in mind this is the same company that took some portion of their policy holders money and gave, yes gave, it to several police departments in the form of....you guessed it...Laser speed guns.
More tickets=higher policy costs=more profit with no additional payouts.
