Default WTF is wrong with my brakes?

Look guys so when Im driving and I brake at about 20mph still breaking to a stopp the brakes seem to slip a few times and they make a springing noise really bad. So I took it to empire Nissan in ontario and they told me it was the brakes they had to be done.

They wanted to charge me three bills so I was like screw it so I did a full brake job pads cut the rotors and all and guess what it still does it. What could it be? Tony the guy with the red tt 350z told me it could be the ABS should I just go take it to Performance Nissan with Jeff what do you guys Think?

Thanks
Gilbert

That sounds like ABS coming on. Take it to Performance since the A-holes at Empire couldn't figure out the problem and wanted to sell you a brake job.

Sounds like ABS to me. If you slam on the brakes esp. if it's wet out while going moderately fast, you'll trip it.

That would have been my first guess. Brake pads. What do you mean cut the rotors, resurface them? How did you change everything for 60 bucks?

The stock front brake pads alone are about 70+ bucks?

That is what I was wondering. Tell us how you did "a brake job" for $60. This problem sounds like ABS to me though.

I bought hawk performance pads and the pep boys took three hours to surface my rotors so they did it for free

I would be worried about the quality of a 3 hour surfacing of rotors. They might have ruined them by taking off too much material. If you don't find another solution, I would recommend brand new rotors.

Abs Sencsor bad.... happend to me... go to dealer, tell them to test it and replace it under warantee. and also tell them you dont want to wreak a $30000 car becouse of the dealer's negligence.
