Interior Lighting.. I was thinking of a nice blue neon spot for the Z on the back brace bar.... nothing bright..

What do you think?

I'd classify automatically as "rice" anything cosmetic that has no function, anything that purely detracts from the car, or anything that's just dumb and ugly.

No way! Aesthetics only concern what the parts look like that don't need to function. For instance, if you have two seats, you make them the same color. A big *** door handle doesn't hurt anything functionally, so that can be aesthetic. A stripe is aesthetic, if it's tasteful. A three foot spoiler is not, because it's a bigger weight disadvantage that down force advantage. That's rice.

No seat covers here. Just condition them regularly and don't wear pants with hard things like rivets (levi's jeans and stuff) and you'll be fine. My co-worker has worn holes in his year-old Jetta's leather from his levi's rivets so bewarned.

I honestly don't like anything chromed. For some reason I associate chrome rims with the low-riding SUV cruisers (i.e. the MTV's "bling bling" generation).

brushed finishes are my favorite. gun metal is a nice rim color choice.

I like interior lighting, but it's to be functional the best choice in interior lighting is red and I think green because they don't hurt your night vision.

Default I would like to keep her stock

as possible... I mean.. I like the finish on the rims.. inside and out.. they look fantastic when they are cleaned of brake dust.

I am also glad for the 3m even if it leaves a apparent look to the front.. in sunlight its almost invisible.. and it aint a bra... and I feel better getting closer to other cars.. as in bouncing in and out of lanes ( when necessary to get away from the idiots ).

What about a dash cover? Geee... I kinow I am asking you guys a lot.. but .. since this is my first Z.. I dont want to @#$(*& it up.

I also noticed that a lot of dust clings to the z bar and speaker mount behind the seats.. thinking of a removable cover for that too.. has to be muted and tastful though...

I didnt get to drive my Z all weekend... it rained and there were high winds with things like breanches and dirt flying all over the polace.. hopefully .. tomorrow I will get out there...

All the best.. and what happened to the Las Vegas meet for Z's??? I was looking forward to it!@
