My floor mats are fine at 1400 miles. You guys must be wearing some rugged shoes or you just have heavy *** feet or somethin. Personally, I felt the g35 coupe and Z drove the same. The ruggedness of the shifter was one of the first things that bugged me at first but hey its a sports car not a honduh. Porsches have some rough gearboxes too.

Own an 05' base(2800 miles), several chips in paint on bumper and 1 on hood(that's the price I pay for driving enthusiastically). Cup holder sucks, but oh well. Besides that no issues to complain of.

I love the 350Z seats. I'm just small enough to fit snugly into it with the sides holding onto my lats.

When doing homework on the Z, I read the seating was uncomfortable. I used to have an altima and the Z's seats are a hell of a lot more comfortable than the Altima's ever were.

i have 05 enth white 6mt. i too have some complaints.

rock chips - yeah, thats a b!tch but nothing you can do about that but get a clear bra.

need a new tranny. 5th grinds. nissan says its on "backorder"?!?
only other thing that gets on my nerves is the bottom section of the doors get dirty. but thats b/c i havent cleaned them and people always hit them with there feet.

now here's what i completely havent had.
seats - feel completely comfortable. i hate to say it, but quit slouching. if u sit like you are supposed to, the seat contours perfectly. mine isn't wearing abnormally at all. no feathering. no window grease. you say the cupholder is flimsy? well you shouldn't have food in the car at all, thats my rule. actually makes for a nice place to put ur cell phone. no window grease. any if you're having "rattling and squeak" issues, just roll down your windows and push that lil pedal on the right. it works pretty good. if not, then proceed to get exhaust with test pipes, and try it again. "squeaks? what rattles? all i hear is purring."
