Picked up my track model yesterday
Picked up my Super Black fully loaded track model yesterday. We had to drive all the way from Louisiana to Mississippi to pick it up, but it was worth it. I got a relative to drive it home, since I did not know how to drive a standard, and wasn't about to learn on the highway. While we were driving, we got lots of looks, especially when we stopped at the gas station.
When I got home, I about an hour washing the car, and then, my dad showed me how to shift. Not that difficult, after all. But I did stall quite a few times. After practicing for about 30 minutes to get used to it, I was able to drive it home without stalling. Since this is my first car, I'm definitely going to baby it.
Here's a pic, I'll post more soon.

OOo 1200 a year? That's that too bad considering you are 16 years old - I'm 16 too btw.. and I think I totally deserve a Z!
I was thinking that auto insurance for people my age would be up in the 2000 year.
Both of you are so lucky to be getting your cars. -_-'

I'd love to take it for another drive, but the weather's really bad right now (for some reason, it won't stop raining), and I don't feel comfortable breaking the car in while the road's all slippery. Plus, I'll have to spend an hour cleaning mud off. So for now, all I can do is look at it. Hopefully, I'll get to take it out a few more times this week.
