Default liquid alumium

New 04 Liquid alumium touring. msrp is 34,600. What is Liquid Alumium? Is it worth $1100? I can buy it for 32.5k total. 05 silver chrome without aero 32.8k msrp. I can get for 33k total. Which is the best buy? Thanks for the help.

LA was a third silver color for 04 only. Most agreed it was not worth the extra bucks. But it looks like both your choices are within 500 of each other. I'd just get the color you like best.

Yeah, probably comes down to: Do you want a color that is going to be more rare than most other colors?

Then: Do you like that color and is it worth the extra $$ for ya?

I personally like it alot and would probably spend the extra $$ just to know my car is a little more rare than the others...but that's a personal choice.

He also has to decide if he wants the Aero or not. If you are not that enthuzed about either paint job or the Aero kit I would definitely get the 05 as it is a year newer and will give you more resale value.

You have a touring model so you should have heated mirrors.

I think it's worth $500 for the exclusivity.

Here's a couple pics of a liquid aluminum next to one of the other "silvers"...I think silverstone, but I don't know.

Again...I really like this color. Looks great in person.

Ok so, I cannot tell the difference between Liquid Aluminum and Chrome Silver. I thought my car was liquid aluminum until I read this thread where it said that color was only for 2004 models. Mine is a 2003. Here are some pics.

One year wonders on color:

03 Brickyard (yeah team)
04 LA
05 Mellow yellow

I saw the two silver's (LA & lighter of the other 2 silvers) in bright sun & could not tell the difference. But for 500 bucks I'd probably get the LA..............but not for 1100.
