Question Is this the same Spark Plug???

http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchan...de=22401-00017

its the PLFR5A-11 plug which is our stock plug, but under applications it doesnt say 350z. it also isnt labeled NGK. i found these by typing in the model # of the plug in google, instead of 350z spark plug. are these the same plugs for our car only cheaper b/c they arent labeled as 350z plugs??

someone let me know, i think im about to order them.

thanks

Curious, why do you need new plugs?

nope no more damage to the engine. pulled the plugs and cranked the engine, all the water shot out. so i only need to replace the plugs since they got wet.

dealership wants 15/plug so no im not going to go there.

As long as the part numbers are exactly the same that plug should be fine. That is the same part numer that is listed on the NGK site for the 350Z:

http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/apps/ca...engineid=29301

Laser Platinum PLFR5A-11 * # 6240 .044

The # means original equipment or OEM spark plug. That is a really good price on those ones listed on Courtesy Parts. I also checked and NGKs website says the Altima uses the same exact plug as the 350Z so I think you found a great deal. Go for it.

huge storm, lotsa water on the roads.

lucky i popped the clutch and put teh car in neutral and shut it off as soon as i hit water, instead of trying to mash the gas and get out of the flood.

engine woulda been hydrolocked for sure

AEM bypass valve is my new best friend
