Splash Guards
Dealers have pics of this. I have only seen one online and they look OK. Nothing extravagant, just normal splash guards that do not stand out too much. I wouldn't go that route unless you have had tons of problems with rocks kicking up and hitting the sides.
I live in rainy Seattle and I'm thinking more about the rain always kicking up and making the car dirty. Then again, the rain will already make it dirty, so I guess who cares?
I think they look great. Nissan has done a very good job with all the accesories for this vehicle. First nobody wanted the Aero kit until they saw it from a better camera view now IMO it looks funny without it. These splashguards have the same affect, they really add to the look. Sorta like a ground kit.

Those splashguards look awesome! Dammit, Nissan! If i knew they'd look like that i would have added those options back in April. . . . But wait, I live in San Diego. I guess i don't need them then. I don't need windshield wipers either.
I'm also in Seattle and I didn't hesitate to order the splash guards. I think they finish the lines of the car off and the Z actually looks better with them than without.
Not to mention they are functional, especially here with the rain and grime. That's also why I bought silverstone - it better not show dirt as quickly!
And to top it all off, the splash guards were a cheap option. Still, my car will be almost $38,000 after options/tax/licensing. All this talk about $27k Z's just doesn't work for me!
