Howz your clutch feel?
I drove a friend's 05 Z today, and the clutch felt soooo easy to depress, like my honda civic used to feel long ago. Mine on my 03 z is WAY harder to depress. Had my 30k service recently, and they said nothing about the clutch. So how does your clutch feel?

My 04.5 clutch (not sure if that is different from 04) is very nice. Compared to the pick up on the 04 G35c it is much lower and easier to control. I love the firm feeling it has.
The 05 clutches bug me. I felt like I was driving a Honda.

My clutch is fine, although it squeaks when I press/depress it. Can only hear it when there's complete silence outside. Anyone else experience this?

My early-04, very heavy. The only other car I've driven that had a clutch this hard to press was an old BMW. I've started wearing a knee brace on long drives (seriously) because of damage to my left knee.
What would it take to get a lighter clutch? Is it just a matter of changing the diaphragm spring to an 05 model? It may be worth shelling out the cash for it.

I've driven standards my whole life so I don't even notice it. But when I press down on the clutch with my hand I'm always surprised by how stiff it actually is.

I test drove a base 04 or 04.5 (I'm not sure) last year, and the clutch was very heavy. So much that I thought it might become an annoyance as a daily driver.
I ended up getting an 04.5 Enthusiast and the clutch is smooth and light. Worlds better than the one I test drove.

My experience is a bit wierd. When i test drove a 04 track and the clutch was light and smooth, it was a like a year ago when i wasn't planning on buying a Z and just test driving for fun. And then when i was in the market for a Z, i test drove a red 04.5 and the clutch was stiff, and then i test drove another white 04.5 (became mine now) is also kinda stiff too. No big deal for me, i prefer a stiff one anyways.
Haven't tried a 05 yet.
