Default whats up with the wheel hop?

I dont know if the wheel hop when launching is tire related, shocks related, multilink related, or driver related....

what would happen with slicks or maybe more weight in the back.

BWAHAHAHAHA!!! Nice ghetto braces there on the Max! For f**k's sake, it's a FWD sedan, not a drag racer.

"Let's take some parts from the bleachers in the gymnasium and weld them onto your Max! YEAH!!!"

Nice find, Vic. Good laugh.

Victor,

Are those the biggest pictures you could find of those engine mounts?

I would think in a rear wheel drive car it is going to have more to do with the rear suspension design. Not sure though.

question answered!

Having a 92 300ZX this is a common problem that arises from the rubber bushings used on the rear subframe, us 300ZX guys replace the rubbers with poly bushings or, if your real hardcore, aluminum bushings. Problem solved. When I heard the 350Z was going to have the same sort of rear subframe I wondered how long it would take for people to start complaing about it again

Again, it's a large, FWD sedan. Who the f**k auto-xs a Max? No, nevermind. You'll source a dozen people that do and think it's cool. It's a family sedan and I can't imagine going through all of that trouble to auto-x one.

S4, WRX? Yes. Max? No.

people will do what they want in the car(s) that they have. There's not need to hate just b/c you wouldn't do it.

Default You will be assimilated

TJZ

You have it wrong we should all be alike, we should all act alike, we should all be alike.

All seriousness aside, I am glad the world is full of people who are different than me. Who else would I make fun of?

hmm, check out strictlyz.com for the price of the 300ZX bushings, I dont think they will work on the 350 but it will give you an idea/pic. its not a mod i would attempt if you dont usually work on your own cars.

easy there.. i do

and until I get my Z in the spring, will continue doing so. by the way, in the event pictured above, i beat every other FWD without race tires, not to mention a bunch of other RWD cars.

oh, and as to heavy... its a lot lighter than the Z

AutoX is the perfect way to become a better driver in the car you DO drive everyday. I know there are alot of very serious Solo2 guys out there, but I have seen guys be very competitive out there in sedans. Thats the best thing about autoX, its very accesable to all skill level drivers in all types of cars.

Lower the rear tire pressure.
Get better shocks.
Lighten the weight in the front, so weight shifts to the rear.
get slicks.
do a burn out to warm up your tires.
