Default Creaking sound during braking

Hi all

I'm a Z owner from Singapore.

Frankly, the level of mechanical knowledge here is terrible, thus I would like to ask the technical experts here for your feedback and evaluation.

This only happens after I have driven the car from cold for about 15mins. Thereafter, whenever I apply the brakes, but not to a complete stop, the car sort of like still moving but slower, there is a creaking sound only when I turn the steering. It sorts of comes from under the car. However, when the brakes are released, and when turning, there is totally no sound.

Happened to anyone before? Please advise, it's driving me nuts.

Thanks alot guys. However, I just replaced the brake pads with Nissan original ones at 15,000km. Since then, it's been barely another 3,000km done. I just got the agency for EBC brake pads, so probably try them on.

In fact, I consulted my mechanics here, and they claim it's the ABS kicking in. Quite skecptical about that as it's unlikely that the ABS will engage at lows speeds?

If you slam on your brakes it will kick in, even at low speeds.
