Default Questions about putting the Z on a lift

I am swapping tires this weekend, and I want to know if there is any special instruction I need to give the shops before the Z goes on the lift. I see the manual recommends special inserts for jackstands, but will this be needed with a lift? I don't want to bend up the unibody underneath. I know the f-bodies will bend if the lift isn't set up right, and it puts gaps between the fender and the door. I would cry if that happened to my car!

Any responses are appreciated.

The pics people have posted of the underside are when the car has been on a lift and the lift contacts were on the frame just about at the jack point. As long as they get it on the frame you'll be ok.

the guys I went to to have a flat repairs couldnt make the lift fit. the times Ive seen a Z in pictures on a lift, it wasnt on the frame, it was the drive on types that lift the whole car.

be careful with it, dont let them lift the car off the ground till you get on your back and check the points where they plan to raise it. Ive heard many stories of cars falling. just be aware.

also be careful if you have the tire pressure moniter.
