I put mine in before I drove off the dealer lot for the 800 mile trip home.

So you installed it in the beginning. Everything still fine? No problems? I don't know if I should finish the break in first, or it doesn't really matter.

Well just installed it myself. It took like 30 minutes because I wasn't sure if I was doing it right. It feels like a really tight fit. It wouldn't go down all the way so I pushed it harder then it kind of slid in. Then I had to kind of force it back into place and clip it down, but it was kind of stubborn. Anyone else had this problem? Well I dunno if it is a problem, but it was like I had to force the clips back into place.

Had the same problem, did the same thing. The filter kept popping out of the tray (because of the gaskets) during installation and wouldn't go completely down. I applied pressure and the tray went all the way down. The clips went back on w/o any problems.

The car runs perfectly fine, no problemos.

Michael.

Very very slightly. I can only tell if I am driving harder than normal, and when the radio is off. Might be all in the head tho. I got the filter only to keep me occupied until some serious CAI are out.
