Janus,

The warrany for the tranny is 5yr/60k.

I have a tranny problem too. When I shift from 2nd to 3rd fast, i get a "teeth" grind. But if i shift slowly (taking a pause in neutral), the grind never happens.

Also, when it is cold, 2nd gear is very hard to get into (clunking sound).

About 2 weeks ago, i had emailed Jason and he was going to set up an appointment for me. I decided I cannot replicate the grind all the time so i cancel the appointment.

Just last week, I felt like seeing the dealer so I called to have them schedule me for a saturday. But the rep said Sat. is really busy and they cannot test drive my car. Dealer say they can "visually" inspect it. I am like wtf, you going to see if you look at it?

At this point i am just waiting until it breaks. Please keep us update.

I had the problem 5th to 6th gear. In Austin TX, South Point Nissan... these guys astounded me with the BEST service I have ever had! I seriously LOATHE dealerships service, but these guys got me a new transmission installed with ZERO hassle in two friggin days!!! And they fixed my seat tracks. Very satisfied...
