Just got the newest edition of Consumer Repot's annual auto issue. Looks like it did real good. Other than the tranny and body intergity, the Z did real good! Both were half circles on the positive side.
Maybe Consumer Reports should look on this web site and get the real story.
5,500 miles...no tranny problems!! (knock on wood)

The only real problem that I had was with the drivers side power seat switch.
wait, the Z is one of the worst used cars? Everywhere i read i hear that it's great. The only thing i think that suspension problem is referring to is the tire feathering problem. That problem has been a topic for a while.
Then again, i could be wrong. So if i am please let me know cause i wanna buy one in may, but if the '03 is on a worst buy list maybe i'll have go the extra yard and get an '04.

I would go for the '04 if I were you. The tire feathering problem with the '03's was such a huge problem. A lot of people had no problems at all, while others had bad re-ocurring problems with it.

yeah i was planning on replacing the suspension with eibach pro kit springs for a few months while I gather the money for coilovers. If i did coilovers, would that be enough to fix tire feather? i also hear wider rims and rubber will help.
yeah, not understanding the body integrety thing either - the car has way higher than normal crash tests and not much body roll/flexing.
I think the 03 is a great car if you're going to mod it. If you want a stock car, get a 2004.5 or higher
