Good Stereo shop on Long Island?
I just want to add an FM Modulator to my stock stereo, but has anyone used a good installer on Long Island?
I don't want someone who has never worked on a new Z ripping my dash apart.
Thanks!

If you want something done right, do it yourself.
Honestly though, I don't trust ANYONE with my cars....that's why I learned to do things myself. That way, if you f*#K it up, you can't be mad at anyone other than you.
Don't know of any shops out on the island that can help....call around first and see if anyone has had the Z apart?

An FM modulator is a way to get an input into your stock head unit. He probably has an aftermarket CD changer or DVD player.
Physically, it connects inline with your antenna lead. To listen, you would tune to a preset FM radio station, like 88.1.

Thanks everyone. I just want to hook up my MP3 player and the FM Modulator seems to be my only option right now without changing the whole stereo.
Thanks Dan, I will call him if I decide not to do it myself. I want to install the RCA Jacks in the center storage compartment along with the on/off switch.
I have decided on the Clarion FM Modulator.
Does the Z have a standard single FM Antenna connection? Does anyone know if the rear Antenna is the only Antenna the Z has. I don't want to have to bypass anything and loose reception.
