Jeez, I didn't even see that pic of the dog on your trunk, and you're worried about door dings! I don't even want to think about how your dogs claws are scratching up your paint!

I always watch where I park at work....I keep mental notes of other cars and their drivers cuz I have seen some pple so big that in order for them to get out...they need to fling the door open and roll out...always park away from them no matter what.

I went to park way out there at Walmart, I mean at least 150 yards from the front door. The closest car was probaly 15 parking spaces. I usually don't leave the Z out for too long, part paranoid and part in a hurry. When I come out, god darn it.... another Z parked right next to me.

When I went to the Gym earlier today, the ONLY spot available was right next to a primer grey Minivan with a mexican flag in the back window. To make matters worse, he was half hangething over the line on my side. I just thought to myself "oh great, I neet this like I need a zit on my *****" but, what ya gonna do? Fortunately, when I left it was still there. Whew...

Well not real proud of this story since I've gotten older. Back in 93 I bought a new Rx-7 R1. Parked it at the end of a row of cars next to a disabled spot. There was about 5 ft between me and the car to the right. I come out later, half drunk, and there's a small honda wedged in between our cars. There wasn't even a real space there. The driver door was 6 inches from my passenger door. I was so pissed I pissed all over his car then left him a note explaining what I did (got the door handle real nice). Couldn't believe the ********** did it. People have no respect.

At work, I park in the farthest space available. Although I park diaganol and take up two spaces. Sometimes I get paranoid that someone might f up my car for taking two spaces, but they should not get pissed off since I am not taking the front spaces. There is always 25+ spaces available in the area I park.

My friend used to park next to nice cars on purpose when he had his beaten up Mazda 3000 pickup. Not to ding the doors, but kind of to mess with the guys.

I asked him "What the hell are you doing?" He of course just grinned.

Fast forward several years and he's got a nice new car. He parks in the middle of nowhere and of course someone parks next to him. He now knows what we feel when someone makes it a point to park in the adjacent stall next to us when we are in the middle of nowhere.

This is the kind of person I beat the shiets out of. Not to for fun, just to make a point.

If a lot is crowded I try to park between a curb and a nice car, 2 nice cars, or in a random area that is out of the way and not actually a spot! :-)

I also figured out something that actually works. If the spots are staggered(like...angled spots, not straight in) then you park between a curb(or another safe thing: nice car or wall or something) and a mini van. The back of the mini van is the only part next to your car and the door slides so it cant hit you! (or better yet you're on the side without a back door). This always works for me...but I don't really have trouble finding parking around here, even during the height of our season.

Yeah, theres few things that **** me off more than people being ignorant and disrespectful enough to give me door dings.

It is for that reason, that I keep a hammer in my car. I get a ding, you get.. well... a whole lot of dings/dents/scratches.

I've only had to use it once. And yes, it was at a walmart. ********.
