I was standing in a line at subway today waiting to get my hands on chicken teriyaki sub (yum). Anyway this guy starts talking to my friend about her car a Jetta GLI. Long story short we start talking about the 350z. The guy then goes of saying his honda, a 2001 EX with cut springs, painted black stock rims and fart can starts talking about how his friend with a greddy TT on his Z is slower than his civic. He then says that the G35 is better because it has 40 hp more than the Z and that he heard it from an Infiniti sales person. . I just amazes me how ignorant people are when it comes to cars, grrrr.. Im just so mad but I dont know why!!!!!

i would.. either you can use that as ur second car so u dont have to waste gas and wear out the 350z.. or sell the civic for a good price to buy parts for your 350z =)

yeah i hate morons like that... i had 2 of those so far... 1st was when this kid came up to me and says "you dont have a fairladyZ you f$#king lier... (b/c i have the fairlady badging) i then proceed to tell him that its just a badge and that the fairlady is the JDM name for the car.... he then shuts up....

next idiot comes up to me and yells why the F$%# did u get a touring instead of a track? the track as 300HP... im like ok... i wanted leather,bose,heated seats ect... and that it may gain 13hp but looses like 16LBFT TQ... and that my car is most likely pushin 300+ at the crank...

So his Civic is faster than a TT Z? What kind of times does he run? TT z's on average run high 12's, so his Civic must have some pretty extensive work done to shave off around 4 full seconds off this 1/4 mile time.

G's have 40 HP more than Z's? Since when? IIRC, the original G's had 280 hp, wheres the original Z's had 287 hp. G's also had 200+ lbs on the Z's. Nowadays, the new G's have 298 hp, while the Z's w/ the newer engine have 300 hp.

See what he did to shut him up when he called you out about the Fairlady emblem? When they talk out of their *** and you smack them upside the head w/ fact, they shut up reaaaal quick. Sometimes they just don't learn though and those guys/girls you just need to walk away from.

i would want a pink slip to a civic, thats gotta pay at least half of a tt install??? plus that ignorant *** would think twice the next time....it reminds me of a time when i first got my z and this kid pulled up to me in a like 2000 prelude, he was like lets race....i was like yeah you have no chance....he said what about vtec...i laughed got in my car and drove off
