Default Anyone order from autotecknic.com?

Has anyone ordered from AutoTecknic.com? I ordered a CF radiator cooling plate from them and it says my order has been placed. I ordered it on the 3/11 and they have yet to give me a tracking number. Under their contact information, they only supply an e-mail. I mailed them but haven't gotten a reply. Should I be worried?

I'll tell you the same thing I told you on Motoring:

I've ordered multiple times from them and gotten both items in a reasonable time frame. I have also e-mailed them multiple times and always gotten a response in less than 24 hours. I don't remember if they automatically e-mail you the tracking number or not. No need to worry though, I'm sure your not getting scammed and will get your item.

Understood, it's just that I've always gotten some kind of confirmation anytime I ordered something online (and I've ordered tons of stuff over the years). I was just checking to see what other people have gone through when ordering through them.

I also got my CF radiator cooling from them, it took couple days until I received it, kinda slow shipping, but everything was perfect.

They use Yahoo software for their ordering so I think you should have gotten an e-mail as soon as you ordered. Perhaps you didn't type your e-mail correctly. They should reply to your e-mail though. I will see if I still have one of my orders in my Inbox when I get home.

I had a bad experience with them. They never shipped the item, kept lying to me about it, could not produce a tracking number, and finally shipped it 12 days later after I threatened to file a complaint with eBay, Paypal and the BBB.

One way to get a hold of them is through Instant Messenger (AIM). Their screen name is Autotecknic.

I ordered a radiator panel from them and it unfortunatly, arrived damaged, but when I contacted them they took care of everything. The new piece arrived shortly afterwards and was perfect. I don't think you have anything to worry about. They are a good company to deal with.

Hmm. Well, my e-mail is correct because I got one e-mail from Yahoo saying that I ordered it the day of, but Autotecknic hasn't replied to my direct e-mail as of yet. I did see they were on AIM, but they never responded back either. They have no phone number, so I have no other way of getting a hold of them. I check my e-mail at all hours so... I don't know. Cantos & Yellow Stealth, I assume when you had problems, you contacted them via AIM/e-mail? No dice for me.

UPDATE: I'm a big dumbass and I deserve to be beaten. I got my plate just about an hour ago. I guess patience is a virtue... I got so worked up over online ordering, I guess I just need to cool down a little bit. I'm just used to getting e-mails about my order/tracking number. My apologies to everyone and Autotecknic.com.

BTW, the plate looks fabulous. I'm going to install it during lunch.

Well, actually I think it is a lesson they need to learn. Customers should expect to get a tracking number these days. They also should expect to be able to get a hold of a company they gave their money to.

We all know bad customer service is something that will always make people lose faith in a business. Autotecknic has apparently not figured that out yet.
