Default need an opinion [models]

First of all let me say my leg should heal relatively soon and I should be up and walking [and driving ] again fairly soon.

With that said, the Z search resumes. So now I have one question to ask you: is touring really worth the extra couple grand more than enthusiast? I`ve been to the nissan site, and see that touring has standard leather and whatnot, but I still think that enthusiast is the best bang for the buck.

Anyone agree/disagree with me?

Most will agree enthusiast is definitely the best bang for the buck, especially if you plan on modding.

The only mods I really plan on doing [other than a sounds system and possibly rims], are maybe an exhaust and CAI.

Get the Enthusiast. Your assessment is correct

I really like the high quality leather seats on my Touring (They are heated too). I've seen several posts here about fraying problems with the cloth seats. They look nice though.

I also like having a 5 disk CD player. The Bose sound system is fine for me, although some complain about it. There are even more complaints about the base sound system.

Personally, I like to get the options I want when I buy the car, because I don't always adhere to my "I'll add that later" self-promises.

I know that touring offers a few mods and upgrades, but what I`m asking is, in your opinions, do you think these mods are worth the extra couple grand I`d be paying for touring rather than enthusiast?

It has been pretty much decided that the Enthusiast is the best buy. Sounds like an Enthusiast w/Nismo exhaust and CAI is you! Yes I prefer the touring but I can't truly say it's the best buy.

Thanks to all who replied, I really do take everyone`s opinions into consideration. Now what it comes down to is if I really want heated leather seats... I`ll let you guys know what I decide, and thanks again for all the support.

i jus purchased my Enthusiast 2 weeks ago, best choice ever. i was at the dealers to purchase an 04 Track. i was curious how well the 05 would hold up against the track. only slight difference (Track alil stiffer, braking a tad better). i could only get the Track down to 34,200, decided on the Enthusiast instead cuz it was 5,000 less. with the money i saved i can get my own wheels and mods later. Unless you really care about leather, VDC, bose, options then Touring is right for you. But you can never go wrong with Enthusiast.

Dont forget about the resale value. too. If you're planning to keep the car then disregard my opinion.

uhh would the resale value be any lower with an enthusiast??

I see enthusiasts for only maybe a grand or so cheaper than touring on the used car market.. that`s about the same as if i were to be buying a new car, where the enthusiast would be a couple grand cheaper

For under a grand you can add leather in the color and style of your choosing to the current seats.
