Default Have you totalled your car?

I'm very surprised as to how many people on these boards have totalled their cars! Luckily, you guys didn't have any major injuries. I can imagine your insurance shot through the rough...

How much did your insurance go up? If it didn't, why not?

I totaled my car like 3 years ago when I was in Europe. I was going around 50 miles (in the city) on a 2 line street and some idiot hit me on my middle-of-the-car-right side (maybe going like 20-30miles). It was a big intersection and this idiot had a stop sign... but somehow thought he is on a main street. I just remember spinning... and spinning and then a big hit. My car slided sideways on a big curb (like 10inches). My 3 wheels were off, 2 axels down - and the whole side of the car damaged The driver didn't even stop - it was a hit and run. The cops found a car later on... but the "owner" reported stolen car a few days after (at the time of the accident he was taking vacation somewhere - BS).

What I can say.. he was lucky that I didnt get him in my hands. I would "teach" him about driving under influence.

The incident happened in Europe - so my insurance doesn't know anything
