Default FRONT LICENCE PLATE BRACKET & CLEAR BRA

I just got my bumper replaced and I finally got a chance to choose where to install the front license plate...the dealer had made that choice before (drilled front bumper...).
I was thinking about getting the strictlyz bracket (the one that screw in the tow hook receptacle), but their web site seems to be down for a while. Where can I get this bracket©´tillen is selling one but it is a bit pricy ($75). I have a custom grille, so the Zee bracket will not work
I planning to put a clear bra as well, could you guys recommend a shop in the Pasadena areaHow much should I expect to pay?)

Thanks,

Go to Courtesyparts.com. They have one for $39.95 (see link).

edit: sorry, overlooked the "zee bracket will not work part"

This sounds like an option for me as well. Is Kyle the only other one who has access to this item? There are no other vendors that sell it?

Well that might be the case in your area but not where I live. I live in a town thats literally 2 square miles and theres always 2-3 cops on duty driving around with nothing to do. When I was younger I was actually fined for riding my bike down the sidewalk. Anyway, now they have random "state inspections" they set up with the state, my last car had no front plate and they pulled me over, ticketed me for that and tint, removed my inspection sticker and put a rejected sticker on. Got to love that.

I made my own. I Bought 2 universal plate holders at Pep Boys
Sandwiched them between the grill, (had to trim the inside one a little) screwed them together with two 3" SS screws and nylon wing nuts. All rust proof! Than I just mounted the plate to the bracket.

Total cost about $14
New look Priceless

Dirk

Yes the dealer drilled the bumper. I also bought little plastic plugs at HD
painted them with matching touch-up paint and glued them in place with hot glue!
What do you think?

In NY/NJ area, you WILL get pulled over for no front plate. Even if its on display in your windshield.
