Default At what PSI does TPMS warn you?

Hi everyone.
Forgive me I dont own a Z - I own a G. I thought I would ask here because I think the TPMS systems are the same in both of our cars and I know there are more knowledgable Z owners than G owners.

Anyway does anyone know the PSI TPMS warns you at?
I started to drive to work today and I got a warning so I stopped my car and looked at it but I didnt seem to have a flat. I turned around and went home and left the car there. I looked at my tires with a cheap gauge I have and they all read 28-30psi. Is this too low for a G on the '04 18s?

28 PSI on the Zs is where the alarm goes off. I assume because of the similarities between the two cars, the normal pressures should be the same - 35 PSI. I'd also assume 28 PSI is where your warning would occur too.

thanks for the info! i assume it must have gone off there for me too. for some reason i thought it went off at 24psi and was afraid i had bad sensors. its good to hear everything is working as it should and that the precautions i was taking by turning home werent really necessary. better safe than sorry

Does it go off if the pressure is too high?

You are mistaken about the pressure at which the alarm goes off. I know first hand that it is 26 lbs.

What year is that owner's manual? It might have changed between 03 and 05 models.
