Dealership Rant - Thank you for listening

Why do I have to drop my car off to have the alignment checked b/c it's pulling right, only to have the dealership call me back and tell me "the tech drove it and said it's ok?!"
WTF! That basically tells me, that in a 2 min. drive some ingrate couldn't feel what I feel when I drive the damn car everyday of my life! It's now 5pm (dropped the car off at 8am) and my car still hasn't been on the rack yet. I told the lady, put the **** on the rack, I will pay your alignment fee if it's not out of spec!
She said she will have the service manager take it for a ride. Whoopee! Anyone care to guess what his expert opinion will be? No offense, but I don't trust a test drive to reveal toe, caster or camber settings being off a few mm...which apparently is the sensitively level that makes the difference between pull/no pull, feather/no feather.
I promise I do not enjoy fighting AM traffic to get there, sit around for the van to drive me to work late, then do the same on the way back only to pick up my car in the same condition I left it with them in minus a few gallons of gas and plus a few miles of abuse.
All I'm saying is opinions are subjective, machines are objective...show me the print out of the machine that says it's in spec and I'll leave you alone(15-20mins). Don't drive it 3 times and tell me you don't feel it (ALL DAY!)

Though I doubt they'd pay for it anyway.

Well I got dropped off by a friend to pick up my car in whatever condition it was in and they ended up doing the right thing. Turns out the rear toe was out both sides. Viola...drives like a different car now.
I almost felt bad for the tech, the service advisor ended up not even charging me for patching a nail hole in one of the tires ($14.95) as a way of punishing him for his bad call on the alignment. Yikes. That, I would have gladly paid for...didn't even know it was there. They also replaced my dead pedal with a new one b/c it had come loose.
I'm happy (now) about the service I received in the end, but still think Nissan has a problem on their hands with the alignments of these cars. I have 2950 miles and this is my third adjustment...
